Special Forces Charitable Trust is honored to partner with Sound Off as they are revolutionizing the way Veterans seek and receive mental health care.

Sound Off is a mobile resource connecting Veterans and Service Members with anonymous, long-term mental health support.

Sound Off is the first mental health resource for Veterans and Service Members that allows both anonymity and repeat contact with clinicians or peers. All interactions between those seeking support and those offering it are contained entirely within the app.

Special Forces Charitable Trust is honored to partner with SOUND OFF in supporting their Battle Buddy initiative. There are a few stipulations to becoming a Battle Buddy in SOUND OFF:

  1. You are an active duty Service Member

  2. You are a retired or transitioned Veteran

  3. You are one of the above, and you get Peer to Peer certified. Certification training is available by following the link below.

    • The accessible free training, which Sound Off has approved is available at: https://grit.uccs.edu/grit-serve-training-info

      • Click “Sign Up” at the bottom of the GRIT Serve training page after clicking the link above.

      • Fill out the form at the bottom of the next page, selecting “GRIT for Military and Emergency Responders” as the training program.

      • Submit your information and check your email for the formal training link to access at your convenience.

    • Once your training is complete, please come back and fill out the following form to be added to the Battle Buddy community of Sound Off!

If all of the above are applicable to you, please take a moment to fill out the following form. Please keep in mind that the email address you provide below will be the address that will link you to your account as a Battle Buddy. Once your information has been submitted Special Forces Charitable Trust will submit it to SOUND OFF to be loaded into their Battle Buddy pool. They will then send you further steps and information that you will need to complete your Battle Buddy certification.
